7-Eleven Brings Chinese New Year Cheer to Old Folks

For Chinese New Year, 7-Eleven together with NGOHub Asia spread festive cheer to the residents of En Yuan Old Folk Home. The festive celebration started off with the customary prosperity toast known as “Lou Sang”, while exclaiming auspicious sayings and well wishes loudly as a symbol of prosperity for the year ahead. Together, they enjoyed their dinner comprising an array of Chinese and Western cuisine. Goodie bags that contain a variety of snacks and red packets were distributed to the folks.

Founded by Stanley Yap, En Yuan Old Folk home is a shelter home for the elderly who are homeless and underprivileged with six helpers including cooks.
